All aircraft, break away!

I was too preoccupied last night to do the other BRW I was supposed to do, but I made up for it with the worst Starfox64 joke ever. Check it out.

Been busy, tired, and reunited with someone I haven't seen in eight years.

Well I'll be damned. Life has been completely unpredictable since I hit twenty. For better or for worse, I'm going to enjoy whatever shit life has to offer.

Hurry up, and take out that core!

Based on a mild spike in the usual bandwidth usage, I'd guess that people have been wondering where the hell BRW is.

It's right there though. One tomorrow as well, if all goes according to plan. I have not been the slightest bit productive this weekend, the reason which can be narrowed down to a single acronym: CON. Underwood and I packed many hours away into Champions of Norrath: Return to Arms (some of which were bitterly repetitive thanks to a vengeful PS2's untimely freezing). Good times, those. Except for the freezing.

And fuck you, Babik Nurn.

Pete says (10:26 PM):
dude
guy
wtf
BRW?

Lord Garvar says (10:26 PM): yeah
it's up
I put it up like

Pete says (10:27 PM):
oh
you just haven't done the newspost

Lord Garvar says (10:27 PM):
no
doing it atm

Pete (10:27 PM):
oh ok

All units report!

So we have another BRW up and running for you.

I was, as I expected, too..."impaired" to do a comic last night. I was also scheduled to work at 7 am this morning, so when I arrived home at quarter to 11 last night, sleep seemed to be the best use of my time.

So a bunch of people that I work with thought it would be comical to end work last Friday on a note that sounds much like this: "See you all on Monday!"

Ha, ha.

Still slightly hungover and tasting rum on my tongue despite my best efforts, I pulled into the employee parking lot at ten to seven in the morning to find the place absolutely barren, save for a lone beer bottle, standing upright, in the middle of the parking lot. Though the message was clear enough, I half expected some aged parchament to be rolled up inside with a fine calligraphic, "Gotcha".

Aaaaaaah, hum.

Cover the base!

I quite like how today's BRW turned out.

It's a bit painful to say, however, that yes, that's pretty much the state of my penmanship.

I think it was up in the air last week about my current status of employment and residential situation, but everything's been cleared up, and there are pros and cons to the fact that I'm stuck at home working a mule's job for half of last year's wage.

Perhaps I'll dive into that and bitch some other time. There are things I should be lending my attention to tonight. I don't know if tomorrow's BRW will be here tomorrow or Monday. I haven't buffered it, and might not be around tomorrow either until the evening, at which time I may seek the dream world for counsel.

Tomorrow or Monday. It doesn't really matter, now does it?

I don't believe it!

And another BRW joins the ranks.

Was hoping to get a verdict on a recent interview I had, "on Monday at the latest", and I'm still oblivious to what Employment's harbinger has to say. Things just seem to be gradually getting worse and worse.

I've got a likely backup plan should this fall through, (which, I suspect, it has by now) but this "plan" equates to me working for less than I'm worth, stuck in my hometown. The only solace to this is the fact that Underwood will also be around, which means many more nights of cursing the name "Babik Nurn" and television shows oriented around mechanical automoton poultry.

Hey, check it out! This news post has a link to the new comic, followed by a lot of irreverant and unimportant shit!

It's almost turning into a LiveJournal, only with content.

By the way, hi to all the people from Wowcraft Sange (or should I say Solefald) has plugged to.

Maybe I'll run into one of you before my trial ends and I vanish from those worlds forever.

This is awful...

Once again, I have completely forgotten about BRW. Life has been kind of busy for the last few days, and will continue to be for the week to come.

Also, this one is a Mission Briefing comic, which is my excuse for why it isn't very good. Some day I'll learn the trick to making each one of 'em a gem, but until I'm endowed with such wisdoms, you're stuck with a bad apple in the basket. I'm expecting the quality to go back up again, as I'm entering a point in the story that's actually been written, and not simply thrown out there on the fly.

I know there was something I was supposed to do, but I just can't remember for the life of me. It doesn't help that I got snagged reading random webcomics for two solid hours.

Quit movin' around!

So apparently, I completely spaced on yesterday's BRW update. I just plain forgot.

Naturally, there's a cheap excuse for a reason as to why this is, and once again, all hands point to Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix. I fought the Lingering Spirit (more commonly known as 'The Guy From KH3'). For maybe four hours. I'm not saying it takes that long to beat him - in fact it takes about three minutes if you're extremely lucky - he's just the most difficult thing in the entire franchise. Fighting Xemnas in the original KHFM was nothing compared to this. Sephiroth can't even hold a candle to him, wearing a flattering maid's outfit.

I finally went against my beliefs and searched the internet for a strategy against him (okay well by internet I mean gamefaqs/gamespot) but lo and behold, nothing. KH vids dot net's forums mentioned this fellow and a couple people said they'd seen a video on youtube, but suspected a gameshark being involved? So I guess my triumph over this badass was more than just a gold crown and the "Birth By Sleep" video. Apparently I'm one of the few in North America who can actually take this guy down. In fact, I may be the first to do it legitimately on Critical Mode. I seriously doubt that though, since it's been well over a month since the game was released. (Well, to be fair, not a whole lot of people in North America even HAVE KH2FM+, since it hasn't exactly been released on our continent, nor is it in English.)

So, I started writing a strategy guide against the bastard. It's almost done. I'm sure I'll post it tomorrow or something, in case there are any Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix fans out there looking for a strategy against the Lingering Spirit (also called Enigmatic Soldier for obvious reasons).

Kind of excited about that, but on the other hand, not so much. The Acing Jiminy's Journal guide I wrote, which was very informative (this is information speaking, not my bloated ego), was considered a duplicate of something else (presumably removed) and rejected. Apparently I'll be able to get it hosted with an adaption or two, but this one's completely fresh and unique (like my other one was, but this can't be argued).

My eyes have solidified into crystal orbs at this point and the screen is breathing cold onto me @_@ That was a good sitting into the heart of night for FFXI.

I archived April 2007, uh, in case anyone is wondering what has happened to that month's links to various comix, since I know everyone had a personal, emotional attachment to last month.

These guys are tough!

I'll make this short; people are waiting on me.

The new BRW is being served up at long last, but I feel kind of bad about it. It didn't fit the storyboard as expected, and I had the choice of either splitting the next little segment into two comics, or having one huge ass 6000px or so comic, and I decided to vouch the former, since it was kinder to the hardware. Just stick with it, I guess.
